Ninety five per cent of DTI funds, supposedly earmarked to support business, may be failing to reach technology companies, reveals research commissioned by business and financial advisers, Grant Thornton.
The company says that its findings are of particular concern, given Trade and Industry Minister Patricia Hewitt's recent comment that 'scientific research is vital for economic prosperity'.
