The Norwegian oil company Statoil ASA said on Monday (27 January) that it had awarded three new contracts in connection with the land-based part of the Snohvit natural gas development in the Barents Sea.
Each of the new contracts at Melkoya, near Hammerfest in northern Norway, was worth NOK150-200m, Statoil said.
The construction group Veidekke ASA received a contract for an administration building and associated facilities comprising a total of some 10,000 square metres.
