A WELSH ex-serviceman has returned to the Pacific island where 45 years ago he witnessed the explosion of four nuclear bombs, each many times more powerful than that dropped on Hiroshima.
Tonight an S4C programme shows Peter Williams's return trip to Christmas Island, where six nuclear test bombs were exploded as the Cold War intensified.
