BEIJING, Jan 17 Asia Pulse - Chang'an Automotive Corporation, a major auto maker in China, reported an excellent performance in 2002 with both output and sales reaching a record of more than 300,000 units.
The company's output of motor vehicles reached 328,747 units in 2002, rising 33.01 per cent over the previous year, and sales was 306,252 units, up 33.01 per cent.
The total industrial output value of Chang'an topped 18.287 billion yuan in 2002, an increase of 54.33 per cent, and sale revenue, 12.934 billion yuan (US$1.562 billion), up 25.82 per cent.
