The San Jose Sharks played the first 10 minutes Monday night as though they are ready to make a run for the playoffs. The Kings just looked like they are running out of time.
Matt Bradley and Bryan Marchment each recorded their first goal of the season as the Sharks jumped over the Kings in the Western Conference standings with a 3-0 victory in front of 16,126 at Staples Center.
San Jose scored three goals on its first nine shots and dropped the Kings into a tie with Nashville for 12th place in the conference with 46 points in 50 games.
