BOSTON -- BOSTON, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The British national convicted of attempting to blow up an American Airlines flight on December 22, 2001 was sentenced today in federal court.
United States Attorney Michael J. Sullivan and William Chase, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New England, announced today that RICHARD COLVIN REID, a/k/a "Abdul-Raheem", a/k/a "Abdul Raheem, Abu Ibrahim", age 29, a national of the United Kingdom, was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge William G.
