The tourism consultant who three years ago planted the seed for Carousel Center's expansion says she's amazed at how far plans have come to turn the mall into one of the country's largest tourist attractions.
"I'm totally astounded by the growth of that seed into such a vision," said Trudy McNulty, president of Tourism Development Associates of Falmouth, Maine, during a visit to Syracuse this week. "It will be a world-class destination, really unique."
