Legendary soul singer Al Green is the confirmed headliner for the second night of this summer's Madison Blues Festival.
Organizers are in the process of booking performers for the Aug. 23-24 event and are tight-lipped about any other confirmed acts. Official word of Green's appearance should come in a week or so.
The Madison Blues Festival has been trying to get Green for the past two years, organizers said.
Besides this year's Blues Festival at Olin-Turville Park, a Harley-Davidson music festival at the park is planned the two following days, Aug. 25-27, said promoter Ken Adamany of Last ...
