Dick Olsen of Prosser was elected chairman of the Tree Top Board of Directors at the cooperative's Nov. 21 board meeting.
Elected to the board in 1988, Olsen has served as vice chairman for the past two years. He replaces Doug Stockwell of Wenatchee who has been chairman during that period of time.
"Tree Top has positioned itself well, in the last three years, through acquisitions of major companies like Seneca and Vacu-dry to be profitable for its grower owners," Olsen said.
Olsen and his brother, Larry, are partners in Olsen Brothers Ranches Inc., an 1,800-acre partnership in apples, hops and grapes. A graduate of the University of Washington, ...
