UNIVERSITY MEDNET SIGNS MEDICARE PARTICIPATING AGREEMENT
CLEVELAND, Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Univeristy MEDNET and its 120 doctors will begin accepting Medicare-approved fees for all physicians services for Medicare patients beginning Jan. 1, 1991.
University MEDNET will sign a Medicare participating agreement in the next week, agreeing to limit Medicare patient charges to those approved by Medicare or the "assigned rate." University MEDNET physicians will no longer bill patients for the difference between the Medicare approved charges and the physicians full fee.
