Article: Research Shows Pregnancy Is Possible After Post Radical Trachelectomy; Gynecologic Oncologists Making Strides in Women's Cancer Research.

NEW ORLEANS -- NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- A study released today at the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists Annual Meeting on Women's Cancer suggests that pregnancy is safe and realistic for women who have undergone a radical trachelectomy (the removal of the cervix but not the uterus) as a result of invasive carcinoma of the cervix. The study followed patients who attempted to conceive after undergoing the procedure.
