Feb. 1--Crowds packed the Jordano's Marketplace stores on Friday for deep discounts, and many shoppers said they'll miss the family-run emporiums that are closing.
With a 30 percent to 75 percent discount sale kicking in Friday, both stores were busy, with long lines much of the day at the Santa Barbara outlet.
"I'm heartbroken," said Terry Roof, who's been shopping at Jordano's since it was on Chapala Street.
"I love cooking and I can find most anything I need here and these things are a little out of the ordinary."
