STORRS, Conn. - There was nothing more Andrew Bryant could do for his mother - except play ball the best he could.
So that's what Bryant did. The Boston College junior forward came off the bench to score 14 points and grab seven rebounds to help spark the Eagles' astonishing 95-71 romp against No. 14 UConn yesterday at Gambel Pavilion.
It was a fitting tribute to his mother Deborah Bryant, who has cancer and was taken off life support on Thursday.
"She wouldn't ever want me to miss a game," Bryant said.
