If Ocean Springs artist Walter Anderson were alive today, he would find that many of his hidden, discarded works of art have become sought-after property and the recognition that eluded him during his lifetime had finally been realized. But then, the reclusive Anderson probably would have shunned all the attention.
Anderson spent most of his 62 years quietly producing a prolific amount of watercolors, pottery, and other art, most of which remained hidden from the public until after his death in 1965.
