There are several companies operating in Algeria from each of the country's main trading partners: France, the US, Italy, Spain, Japan, Germany, and Canada.
France supplies over 28% of Algeria's imports. Algerian dependence on France involves all the sectors, including defence. French investments in Algeria have risen to almost $3 bn. French imports from Algeria consist mainly of crude oil and petroleum products, LNG and gas liquids.
