The Air Force budget plan for FY '04 includes funding to continue efforts to modernize almost all of its key space programs, including a variety of early warning, navigation and communications satellites and future launch vehicles.
"We are continuing to modernize space across the full spectrum," a senior defense official said Friday at a briefing for reporters on the specifics of the budget.
