Feb. 3-- GOVERNMENT OFFERING INCENTIVE FOR GROWING HARD WHITE WHEAT: When an Oklahoma farmer says "wheat," he means hard red winter wheat. But the government's trying to add a new twist to the old lexicon: hard white wheat.
Some people think growing hard white wheat varieties is the best way to get a taste of the market share in the noodle industry and in the North African and central Asian bread markets.
