I have a solution to resolve all of the issues concerning tax breaks, square footage and hotels for Destiny USA: Start converting the empty store spaces into hotel rooms.
As more stores vacate, convert that space until the entire mall as it now exists becomes the Grand Destiny Hotel.
Shopping? No problem. A free shuttle to the eastern suburban malls. Restaurants? No problem. A free shuttle to Armory Square. Let's start converting today!
