Byline: ROAD WARRIOR
WHAT'S YOUR GRIPE?
Hey, Road: Looking at the tunnel stoppage statistics, I am curious as to how many of the so-called breakdowns in the tunnels are just cars running out of gas.
With the tank near empty, the car dies if it starts sucking air from the tipped tank heading down or up the tunnel slopes.
Maybe signs at tunnel entrances warning of this would help.
