Feb. 4--COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Mayor Mary Lou Makepeace said Monday night she thinks there's a fair solution to Colorado Springs' water stand-off with Pueblo.
The city councils of Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Fountain met for an informal dinner Monday night to get acquainted and talk about mutual concerns.
Makepeace said the Colorado Springs and Pueblo councils used to meet regularly, but haven't in recent years. They should start meeting again in order to get to know each other and find out how they can help each other, she said.
