"Market raiders" are set to seize more of the market from over half of the industry next year, according to research from the new 1st Edition 2003 Plimsoll Portfolio Analysis: Computer Software. Simply hanging on to sales has proven a serious problem for companies in 2002.
Over a third of the industry failed to grow at all. Yet a group of 543 companies, Plimsoll calls "market raiders" captured 8% of the market and grew by 71% on average - a growth nine times the industry average.
Raiders to target the weak
