Feb. 4--ENGLEWOOD, Fla.--The mood was somber following the weekend's tragic events, but the 85 people gathered at Englewood Community Hospital's Suncoast Auditorium for a breakfast meeting of the Sarasota County Committee for Economic Development heard some positive news.
According to chairman Jimmy Dean, the CED's simple goal is economic expansion for the entire county and plenty of jobs to go around.
