MORE civil unrest in Zimbabwe yesterday and threats of anti-Robert Mugabe protests during World Cup games have left the International Cricket Council with no choice but to move England's match in Harare on February 13 to South Africa, according to players' representative Richard Bevan.
Police fired tear gas and assaulted members of a crowd gathered in Harare to hear mayor Elias Mudzuri - an opponent of Mugabe's regime - speak about water shortages. The disturbances followed food riots in the capital and in Bulawayo during the past fortnight.
