Article: Chicago Transit Authority Turns to Air-Friendly Fuel for Its Buses.

Feb. 6--The Chicago Transit Authority will start using new emission-reducing diesel fuel by as early as summer in its nearly 2,000 buses in a move the agency says will help create a market in the Midwest for the pollution-reducing fuel.

The new ultralow-sulfur diesel, along with exhaust filters included on all newly purchased buses and gradually added to some existing buses, should dramatically reduce the soot and pollution spewed along Michigan Avenue and other busy bus routes.
