KANSAS CITY, Mo. _ When Joe and Carolyn Spexarth's child died at birth, they were devastated. But they were also prepared because of church-sponsored class they'd taken.
A finance class.
Developed by Crown Financial Ministries, the class puts as much emphasis on biblical principles as it does on financial principles.
The Wichita, Kan., couple took the class while Carolyn was pregnant, and they wanted her to stay home but didn't know how to make that work on one income.
"In the class, we learned that everything belongs to God, including our children, and we need to be stewards of them," Carolyn said. ...
