-- CNP Assurances premium income for the fourth quarter of 2002 totalled EUR 4,450.2 million, down very slightly by 1.2% compared with EUR 4,503.5 million for the same period of 2001 and up 0.1% excluding currency effects. 
 
-- Total premium income for 2002 came to EUR 18,360.5 million, an increase of 6.2% on the previous year (including a 5.3% like-for-like increase). CNP Assurances significantly outperformed the French savings market, which edged up 2%.
