Union Planters Bank (NYSE:UPC) today announced the appointment of Tim Hill, 42, as regional president of the Central and Southern Illinois markets, effective immediately. In this role, Hill will provide strategic direction and management of Union Planters' wealth management, business banking, commercial real estate, corporate banking and mortgage banking units throughout Decatur, Champaign, Urbana, Springfield, Peoria, Bloomington, Carbondale and Centralia.
