Article: New Mexicans Overwhelmingly Support Limits on Telemarketing.

Feb. 6--ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--More than 600 New Mexicans have given an emphatic thumbs down to telemarketing calls in written responses to a recent survey paid for by the state Attorney General's Office.

An overwhelming majority -- 94 percent of the 624 people who sent in replies said they would support some form of do-not-call list. Ninety-one percent said they found telemarketing calls "annoying and intrusive" instead of "helpful and informative."
