Frustration grew and some tempers got short during a recent meeting of the Baldwinsville marching band parents, spotlighting a divide that may take lawyers to settle.
A disagreement over control of the marching band finances began last year between marching band director Steve Moro and the Baldwinsville Marching Band Support Group, an incorporated, not-for-profit organization. During the meeting last month it became clear that a months-long fund-raising effort by Moro's supporters for the marching band students' Florida trip would be short about $15,000.
