Wixom-based Clover Technologies Inc., once touted by its owner as one of the largest minority-owned network-integration companies in the nation, has ceased operations and is liquidating assets to pay secured lenders.
More than 200 Clover employees have lost their jobs since the summer, and at least six creditors are suing the company for unpaid bills.
Some former employees said they are being hounded for unpaid medical bills as a result of Clover's alleged failure to pay medical premiums.
In a statement to Crain's on Friday, Clover confirmed the company's intention to close.
