Finance Ministry holds GDP estimate for 2003 at 3.3 % despite revised CSU figures

The Finance Ministry is holding its estimate for 2003 GDP growth at 3.3 %, according to the new macroeconomic forecast published on its web site Thursday.

Estimated GDP growth for 2002 remains at 2.7 %.

The estimate would have been lower had the Czech Statistical Office not revised its macroeconomic data for July-November, says the ministry.
