U.S. REDUCES AID TO UKRAINE DUE TO ITS FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE - PASCUAL
The United States of America reduces financial aid to Ukraine, particularly, because it has reached a certain level of financial independence, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Carlos Pascual said. Asked to comment on the planned reduction of assistance to the former Soviet countries, including Ukraine, Pascual told a briefing in Kyiv Thursday that many of those states, particularly, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, had demonstrated that they could independently get to the international capital markets and find assets there.
