After a year-and-a-half dry spell, the Rubber Industry Buyers Alliance has attracted another member.
Last fall the purchasing consortium welcomed Home Rubber Co. L.P., bringing its total membership to six companies.
RIBA was founded in May 2000 by BRC Rubber & Plastics Group Inc. and Alco Industries Inc. In July of that year, American Rubber Products Corp. joined, followed by Precix Inc. (formerly Acushnet Rubber Co. Inc.) in October and SAS Rubber Co. in January 2001.
