WORLD-CLASS TENNIS COMES TO MARTHA'S VINEYARD
DETROIT, Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Detroit attorney Gregory J. Reed has successfully negotiated arrangements for world-ranked professional tennis games to be played at Martha's Vineyard Racquet and Fitness Club, the East Coast's first African-American private club. This marks the first time such games have ever been held on Martha's Vineyard island, Massachusetts.
The games are slated for the second week of July 1991, after the Wimbledon Series featuring Zina Garrison, women's singles finalist in 1990. Pam Shriver and Yanick Noah (tentatively), as well as other world-ranked tennis players, are scheduled to ...
