Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Brett Hull became just the sixth player in NHL
history to score 700 goals with a second period tally, as the Detroit Red
Wings defeated the San Jose Sharks, 5-4, at Joe Louis Arena.
Hull, who was held scoreless in the Red Wings' previous seven games, joined
Wayne Gretzky (894), Gordie Howe (801), Marcel Dionne (731), Phil Esposito
(717) and Mike Gartner (708) as the only players to have reached the plateau.
