Feb. 11--SAMPHENG CHOSEN FOR TRADE CENTRE: Sampheng Trade Centre, a modern retail and wholesale trade complex, will be developed on a seven-rai land plot at the intersection of Yaowarat and Wat Tuek in Bangkok, with completion expected in 2005.
The development site, owned by the Crown Property Bureau and managed by CPB Property Co, is currently occupied by 190 shophouses.
Shopowners will be offered special terms to rent units at the new centre, which will have 80,000 square metres of retail and office space, 100 residential units and 1,000 parking spaces.
