A LECTURER from Newport is hoping to make Caerleon a world-famous venue for sculpture in the lead-up to the village's inaugural arts festival.
Peter Appleton, who works at the University of Wales College, Newport, is an organiser of a ground-breaking sculpture symposium which involves a range of international artists working in public in the area this summer.
