NEW YORK - Lawrence L. Rennet, a former chairman of White Stag, a manufacturer of women's sportswear and skiwear, died Jan. 27 in Portland, Ore. He was 89.
According to his son, Albert, the cause of death was melanoma.
Rennet worked at White Stag, a division of Warnaco, from 1940 to 1974. He was president from 1963 to 1970, and it was during this period that he had been instrumental in forming an alliance with Speedo and ...
