``Chicago'' received 13 Oscar nominations Tuesday, but the biggest winner was its distributor, Miramax, and its co-chairman, Harvey Weinstein, who had a hand in four of the five Best Picture nominees.
Miramax Films got a total of 31 nominations for the 75th edition of the Academy Awards, including Best Picture nods for ``Chicago,'' and Martin Scorsese's violent epic ``Gangs of New York.''
The lone musical, ``Chicago,'' earned nominations in the Best Actress category for Renee Zellweger and in supporting categories for Queen Latifah, Catherine Zeta-Jones and John C. Reilly. ``Gangs'' took 10 nods, including Best ...
