2003 FEB 21 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cambrex Corporation (CBM) reported fourth quarter 2002 earnings of $3.0 million, or $10.4 million excluding special items recorded in the quarter, compared with $11.9 million in the fourth quarter 2001, excluding special items and amortization to reflect the adoption of SFAS 142.

Diluted earnings per share were $0.11 for the fourth quarter 2002, or $0.40 excluding the special items, versus $0.45 in the fourth quarter 2001 excluding special items.
