LITERALLY translated, hajj means a ?visit to the revered place.? The Hajj or pilgrimage is the most significant manifestation of Islamic faith and unity in the world.
This annual pilgrimage, an obligation for those who are physically and financially able to perform it, is the peak of a Muslim's religious life.
