THE THIEVES MUST HAVE BEEN SHOCKED.
For days they scouted the home electronics warehouse they wanted to hit. They cased the joint and pinpointed a secured, outswinging metal door for access. With only a sliver of moon to light their work, the two robbers tightly tied high-strength rope between a warehouse door handle and the rear axle of their truck.
They popped the engine into gear and pulled, hoping to break the lock mechanism and open the door to the goods. The rope went taut...the engine strained... the door held fast.
