WASHINGTON -- A pair of United States senators recently praised Pharmavite LLC for being one of the first nutritional supplements suppliers to participate in the U.S. Pharmacopeia's Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP).
In a letter to the company Sens. Orrin Hatch (R., Utah) and Tom Harkin (D., Iowa) congratulated Pharmavite for helping build consumer confidence in nutritional supplements.
"As the industry awaits notice of good manufacturing practices from the FDA there is much that can be done to help ensure consumers of product quality," Hatch and Harkin wrote. "Participation in DSVP is a step in the right direction, and we hope other firms ...
