Article: IBM JAPAN TO ALLY WITH JAPAN'S INES ON SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SVC.

TOKYO, Feb 17 Asia Pulse - IBM Japan Ltd., in a tie-up with Ines Corp. (TSE:9742), will start a service for integrating multiple mainframe-based computer systems of merging companies into a single IBM machine, sources close to the deal said.

Ines has experience in building computer systems comprised of machines made by various manufacturers. IBM Japan expects the alliance to help ignite demand for its machines.
