Dell grows sales by 13.4% in Poland to take market rank of fifth on 4.2% share
Warsaw. February 18. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Dell noted 13.4% growth in sales in Poland in 2002, thereby allowing the world's biggest computer hardware seller to take a 4.2% overall market share and position number five, Dell Computer Poland president Roman Durka told a Tuesday press conference in Warsaw.
Dell sold 42,547 units, comprising 32,243 desktops, 8,250 laptops, and 2,054 servers in 2002, according to the company, which was citing data from IDC. That gave it a 3.6% share in desktops (market rank fifth), a 7.3% share in laptops (fourth) and a 10.7% share in servers (third) ...
