Morgantown,  WV  (Sports Network) -  Dan Miller hit  the go-ahead shot with 15 
seconds  left  and Matt Carroll  scored 16 points  and grabbed 10 rebounds, as 
12th-ranked  Notre  Dame held  on  to  defeat  West  Virginia, 56-55,  at  WVU 
Coliseum. 
 
Chris  Thomas  added 13  points, eight  assists and five  boards for the Irish 
(20-5,  8-3  Big East),  who bounced  back from  an 82-80  loss at Syracuse on 
Saturday. Notre Dame has won 16 of its last 20 games.
