WASHINGTON -- WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Honorable William H. Sorrell, Attorney General of the State of Vermont has been named Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the American Legacy Foundation(R), the national, independent public health foundation dedicated to building a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit.

In 2002, General Sorrell was appointed by the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) to serve on the 11-member American Legacy Foundation Board. He is Vice President of NAAG and chair of its Tobacco Committee.
