Astromaritima Navegacao S.A., which operates with owned and leased ships and the shipbuilding company Eisa (Estaleiro Ilha S.A.) are to sign an US$48mil contract for the building of two tugs and one AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply). From the total amount, 83% (US$540mil) will be invested in the building of the AHTS, which will increase the 15 fleet offshore vessels of Astromaritima, who operates in the Campos Basin with other five leased vessels.
