Feb. 20--As San Antonio reaps the other bonanza of Toyota Motor Corp.'s decision to build a plant here, it is important to understand what that bonanza -- the convoy of suppliers headed this way -- is going to do.
Some people here may believe the suppliers actually will build or make parts for the Toyota factory when it starts operations in 2006.
Some will. More likely than not, however, the suppliers will come to San Antonio to set up staging facilities to provide the materials and components to the Toyota plant.
That will mean more logistics ...
