Canon has just updated its entry-level ZR-series Mini DV camcorders with the ZR60, ZR65MC, and ZR70MC. These models will be replacing the existing ZR40, ZR45MC and ZR50MC.
The ZR60, ZR65MC, and ZR70MC all now come with an improved 1/6-inch 680,000-pixel CCD sensor, so the images captured with video will be sharper than the previous 460,000-pixel CCD models. All models have the My Camera function and DV Messenger software bundle. The My Camera function is a new way to personalize the camcorder's start-up screen.
